High Resolution Scanner - optoTOP-he

The high resolution digitisation system optoTOP-HE is the logical further technical development of our proven optoTOP system. This system has, over the last ten years, become one of the most successful topometric measurement systems worldwide.

The most important features of optoTOP-HE system in brief:
  • The patented MPT projection unit enables a very rapid object scan of approximately one second
  • A digital camera with up to 4 Mega Pixel resolution and digital zoom guarantees the highest resolution
  • A carbon fibre base provides optimum mechanical and thermal stability of the sensor

2D Micro Scanner - µikroTOP

High resolution analysis of the surface structures of objects, components, forms and tools. The µikroTOP zoom was specially developed for the precise and high resolution digitisation, measurement and analysis of micro structures.

The most important characteristics of the µikroTOP systems:
  • The µikroTOP system is based upon our proven optoTOP-HE technology.
  • The sensors of the µikroTOP system is equipped with a high resolution digital camera (1280 x 1024 pixel).
  • 3x zoom permits continuous adjustment of the measurement range between 11 x 8 mm to 33 x 24 mm.
  • The measurement is performed without touching or damage within 1 second.
  • The entire system can be controlled from a laptop and thus can be used flexibly and easily transported.

Face Scanner - faceSCAN

Our in-vivo 3D-digitisation system faceSCAN-II covers faces and structures of the human body quickly, with a high level of detail and precision:
  • The extremely rapid measurement duration of under one second per sensor, makes the faceSCAN-II - system into an ideal in-vivo-scanner
  • The faceSCAN system is, due to the adaptable lighting, suitable for the most different types and colours of skin
  • The measurement field is, as standard, ca. 480 x 360 mm and is thus optimally adapted to the size of the human face
  • Sensors with different measurement fields are optionally available.
  • Two digital cameras with 640 x 480 pixel are used
  • For further improvement of the resolution, high resolution cameras with 1280 x 1024 pixel can be used.

Body Scanner - bodySCAN

The bodySCAN system is the consequential enhancement of our in-vivo metrology series. Based on our long lasting experience in the area of skin and face measurements, we developed a system for the fast digitization of the whole human body. The interaction between our patented projection technology and an especially designed electronics, enables the system to finish the whole scan procedure in less than 2,5 seconds. In this way the test person can be scanned in a natural and relaxed posture.

The bodySCAN sensor system consists of four measurement pillars, each equipped with a projector and two digital cameras. The eight datasets which are captured within each scan, are processed and finally combined with the powerful OPTOCAT software.

Stereo Scanner - stereoSCAN

The stereoSCAN 3D consists of 2 high resolution digital cameras and our patented MPT-projection unit. The cameras are positioned asymmetrically left and right of the projector. This configuration enables a maximum of flexibility and precision.

Flexibility :
  • Due to the asymmetrical setup, three different triangulation angles of 10°, 20° and 30° are realized in one system at once. Thus data which are difficult to access can be captured reliably.
  • Different measurement ranges can be easily and fast realized by changing the lenses.

3D Scanner - optoSIS

The quality of surfaces is a decisive factor for the quality standard of many products and requires a reliable surface control. The visual or manual surface inspection, which is based on subjective valuation criteria and therefore depends on the experience and estimation of the individual controller, is more and more supported by automated inspection systems.

The optical surface inspection system optoSIS provides an objective analysis of 3-dimensional surfaces of objects.

The control of typical surface faults as dents and bulges, cracks and notches, includes the following steps:

LED Scanner - dermaTOP

The dermaTOP-blue system with it's blue high intensity LED, opens up new possibilities for the analysis of roughness and smoothness for human skin:
  • This narrow band, shortwave light source has a number of decisive advantages in the three dimensional measurement of human skin. The blue light doesn't penetrate the skin as much and is reflected more strongly from the surface. The resulting better contrast gives a better precision of the skin topography.
  • The very rapid measurement time of between 100 - 200 Milliseconds makes an immediate analysis possible.
  • The making of replicas is not necessary. Existing replicas can, of course, also be measured.
  • A new digital camera with 1280 x 1024 pixel guarantees best resolution and speed.
